The capsule will be swallowed by the patient after appropriate preparation prior to the procedure. As the capsule travels through the gastrointestinal tract, it will continuously capture images using the scanning imager. The acoustic communication channel will then transfer all data capture from the capsule to the data controller.

The capsule is naturally digested.
