1. The Capsule
   1. The capsule will be swallowed by the patient after appropriate preparation prior to the procedure. As the capsule travels through the gastrointestinal tract, it will continuously capture images using the scanning imager. The acoustic communication channel will then transfer all data capture from the capsule to the data controller.

2. The Data Controller
   1. The data controller is a small, lightweight device worn by the patient throughout the procedure. Sensors are connected from the data controller to the abdomen of the patient's body in order for successful transmission of the data from the capsule. The data controller will store data on a memory card prior to the cellular transmission of the data to an internet based source.
   
   The data controller and sensors are returned to the physician's office after the procedure is complete.
   
3. Software
   1. The software allows the physician to view the data captured from the capsule through an internet based network. The data is automatically downloaded via the cellular transmission and is available for viewing immediately after the procedure is complete.
